BlackLab launches itself with a party featuring music, projections and slogans. The event will take place once submissions are in, edited, collated, DJs booked and a venue sorted. The theme for our launch is PRIVATE VIEW, showing found and new images inspired by erotica. As a guideline, please see a selection of images in our photo album. We want submissions that contributors consider to be erotic. These can be found images, images from your personal archive or images created especially for this project.
Deadline for submissions:
1 October.
Submission guidelines:
Please submit JPEG images (saved at 10 quality) at 1200 pixels wide on the longest edge at a resolution of 72dpi. Email them to blacklab@gmx.com and please state if you don’t wish these images to appear on Facebook.
If you’re submitting found images, please include the copyright information with your entry.
BlackLab is here to revel in images old and new. We want to breathe new life into the presentation of still pictures by experimenting in collaboration with artists, musicians, film-makers and designers.
