Snappers – The Rural Model

Rod FlemingFor more information

A new feature at BlackLab, Snappers, explores the photographer’s self-portrait.

Here, we have the Rural Model. Dressed in an outfit fit for a variety of climatic conditions, easy access to pockets is ensured thanks to the multi-purpose Gilet. The posture is one of intent and sincerity, with a firm grasp of the camera body signifying control and precision. An angled wooden plank in the background signifies an authentic, rustic environment with a hint of danger – conditions well within this photographer’s comfort zone.
